Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and balance general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Manage payroll and related reporting.
- Monitor and manage the bookkeeping email inbox.
- Assist with the implementation of process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare month-end closing and reports related to bookkeeping activities.
- Collaborate with the finance team during audits.
- Adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members.
- Familiarity with general ledger and month-end closing procedures.
